Vitrue's Top 100 Social Brands of 2008
This corporate blog (http://vitrue.com/blog/2009/01/29/the-vitrue-100-top-social-brands-of-2008/) is an analysis of which brands or branded products are most often mentioned in social media. Vitrue launched a social-media index last year that measures the conversation volume around 2,000 brands on a variety of social-networking, blogging and micro-blogging sites. This survey only measures "mentions", not whether or not these mentions are positive or negative. The survey was taken in December 2008.
